The world is changing really fast and along with that our dear country is also changing rapidly. The Change is not only physically, but also in its dreams, aims, aspirations, and values that tied us all in one thread. The director N.Chandra tries to capture some time from the lives of these people who are running at jet speed towards an unknown destination.
Yeh mera India explores the lives of 12 people living in the city of Mumbai at a given point of time. Somehow through the story their lives are seemed to be interwoven yet so very dismantled the agony of identity crisis. This film explores human on personal level, and also addresses issues on asocial level, ranging from corruption, caste distinction, bribe, torture, etc. These have become issues in a common’s man’s life and he can easily identify with it.
The film has a huge star cast, but special mention should definitely be made of Anupam Kher, Sima Biswas and Rajpal Yadav. Superb presentation, great food for thought and some fine acting. This film has everything to attract any sensible, intelligent movie lover who can appreciate the aesthetics of life so finely portrayed by this veteran director
