Osama Bin Laden Is Dead Says President Obama

Almost 10 years after 9/11, President Obama at 11:30 pm ET on May 1,2011 , announced on nationwide television at White House on Sunday night – Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. The most dreaded and wanted terrorist who celebrated his 54th birthday in feb, was killed in a firefight at a compound (mansion) in Abbottabad in northern Pakistan, 60 miles/ 100kms north of Islamabd.
On Friday, 29th April, when world was watching royal wedding, President Obama after a natioanl security meeting, gave a go ahead for the operation. The Multi helicopter operation led by US Navy Seals lasted 40 minutes. No USA soldier was killed in the firefight. President Obama praised pakistan president Zardari for the support. Members of Pakistan ISI were present at the site of operation.
The body of Osama was in possession with USA. A DNA test was performed to confirm the body is actually of Osama Bin Laden before the announcement. The president was briefed last August about Osamas Laden’s whereabouts. The president has 5 secret natioanl security meetings on March 14, March 29, April 12, April 19 & April 28 where he was updated about Obamas position.
Thousands gatherd and cheered go laden go, USA! USA and God Bless America, outside white house as soon as news of Osama bin laden death floated on social media sites.
