Kung Fu Panda 1 was a tremendous success, and its sequel does not disappoint a bit. Kung Fu Panda 2 has its moments. Its storyline is absorbing and the funny one liner’s are quirky and delightful. The animation is breathtakingly beautiful. Kung Fu sequences in the movie are a joy to watch, especially in an animated movie. You get so immersed in the movie that you end up quietly cheering for Po and his motley crew as they take on Sheen the formidable peacock.
Your eyes well up when cuddly baby Po is separated from his parents. Po is adopted by a goose. It’s no surprise that Po keeps wondering how his father is a goose. With all its funny moments this movie succeeds in teaching audiences the value of family. A thought provoking script works wonders for movies and it does for this one too. There’s never a dull moment. Po the lovable Panda along with his friends take it upon themselves to protect the Valley of peace.
The villain, who makes a formidable opponent, has evil plans to make use of a deadly secret, a weapon that has the power to conquer China and put an end to Kung Fu forever. Po and his gang travel across China to gain ultimate victory. The voices lent to characters on the first installment have been reprised. There’s nothing to complain about in this movie. It’s flawless in every aspect. There are few animated movies that have a thought provoking message attached, this is one of them. This movie creates an impact without being overly loud. The magical moments in the movie are endearing. You just can’t help falling in love with Po and his friends. At the end of it you’re left with a feeling of warmth within. All in all Kung Fu Panda-2 is a must watch movie for kids and adults alike.
