Jai Aur Veeru : Bollywood Movie Reviews
The very popular pair of Jai Aur Veeru was expected to give the audience a colorful dip, as its release was given the name of Holi blast by releasing it on March 11, 2009. Puneet Sira, the director, tried to infest in the movie total masala elements, but let’s see how the entire frame works. Fardeen Khan, Kunal Khemu, Dia Mirza, Anjana Sukhani, Arbaaz Khan and Rajesh Khattar have played the lead roles in the movie. Producer Shyam Bajaj and the big banner of Siddhi Vinayak Movies have put in a lot of effort to make this movie a Holi blast.
The story revolves around the two people: Jai Aur Veeru. Initially Veeru (Kunal Khemu) is showed as a crook that practices stealing cars and selling them out illegally. Destiny makes him meet Jai (Fardeen Khan), who is a simple car mechanic. Both of them become great friends and the best of crime partners. Here a twist makes of them feel betrayed of each other. Here enters pitiless gangster Tejpal (Arbaaz Khan), who hates both of them to no extent and bears the intentions to kill them… what will happen next, will Tejpal be able to succeed in his intentions? The Actresses do not hold an eminent role in the story until the climax arrives.
Bappi Da is as usual tuneful and making a comeback through Jai Aur Veeru, whereas the Cinematographer K.Rajkumar has not completely justified his task. You call the director’s performance just average or below that. The Action scenes of Jai Aur Veeru score higher than all and the credits go to Allan Amin. The critics say that these two hours of mixed entertainment might be somewhat impressive for the hardcore lots but the classy group will abhor it. All that is above average in Jai Aur Veeru are looks of Anjana and Kunal’s acting skills.
People expect Jai Aur Veeru to stay back to the single screens, as its entry to the multiplexes would was terrible to say the least.
