Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

Certainly bollywood films don’t always get their humor flicks quite right leaving an innocent viewer very bored. However, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani certainly does tickle your funny bones every now and then. You can’t term the entire film a funny flick but for the most part you’d be laughing. Having Katrina and Ranbirr stammer whenever they’re nervous wasn’t funny 1 bit. However, Ranbir Kapoor did pull off a lot of the humor on his shoulders alone, despite being with a group of friends at all times. Katrina doesn’t have any funny scenes quite honestly. The villains too make us viewers laugh a few times, and so do Ranbirs parents.

Overall, a little editing would have worked better to make viewers laugh at one situation after another rather than have to wait for humor to build up. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is not a satirical comedy and has no ounce of seriousness in it so it’s best if you don’t look for logic. Editing goofs too have been overlooked and Upen Patel’s role isn’t too great and there’s great difficulty figuring whether he’s from London, or Canada. Leave aside the thinking and even happy club seems passé, but Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani has its moments of comic glory.
