Aagey Se Right: Movie Review

Aagey Se Right was hailed as an “an edgy commentary on the chaotic times” in its pre release reviews. Sadly enough after the release both the audiences and the critics did not find anything either comic o edgy in the film.

The film is a directionless, jumbled presentation of certain ideas, that not only fails to entertain, but also irritates and bores the few takers that it had initially.

The story is about a police officer (Sreyas Talpade) who loses his revolver on the second day of his duty. In the entire film that revolver is shown to change hands, but remains unreachable to its owner in a very mysterious way. Then there is another subplot of Kaykay Menon as an ISI agent who comes to India with an agenda to destroy the country, but forgets everything at the first sight of a bar dancer played by Shehnaz Treasurywala. he makes a fool of himself in all the funny and comic activities that he indulges in to impress shehnaz.

The role played by Vijay Maurya as the south Indian don is artificial and the accent is exaggerated. The performance of other actors like Mahi Gill& Siv Pandi is also very average. Shreyas and Kay key’s talent is totally wasted because of the poor screenplay.

This film is an absolute flop movie that is not even watchable as a time pass entertainment
